<p>Bengaluru: People’s Planet, a leading environmental organisation, has launched an ambitious initiative to plant one million trees and create urban forests across the city, aiming to transform Bengaluru into a model green space while honouring the legacy of eminent personalities.</p>.<p>The initiative was formally inaugurated at the Raj Bhavan by Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot, in the presence of Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre and other prominent leaders. The project aims to create a balanced and diverse ecosystem, setting a benchmark for other cities to follow.</p>
