Bengaluru's Sarjapur Road in Anekal in a shambles, netizens seek urgent repair

Bengaluru: The link road between Sarjapur and Electronics City via Chinatalamadivala and Huskur is in shambles.

Residents of the area took to social media to highlight the pathetic condition of the stretch, which had potholes as deep as craters for up to two feet.

"Please act now", United Anekal, a citizens collective posted on X (formerly Twitter), seeking intervention from the Chief Minister's office (CMO). "The road is in such condition for the last five months." They also pointed out that they had complained to the CMO in July, but there has been no action so far.

"Pregnant women in Sarjapur Road-Electronics City area can now use this road for free normal delivery," Swaroop Reddy, a resident of the area, vented on social media, drawing attention to the poor condition of road. "Please note: Women in their 8th or 7th month are advised to avoid these roads to prevent premature delivery," he warned.
