<p>Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Transport Department is partnering with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to develop a unified digital infrastructure for all modes of transport. </p>.<p>The Transport Tech Stack co-developed as a result of the partnership will ensure open data integration and operational efficiency, according to a press release. </p>.<p>Last week, a Japanese delegation led by JICA DxLab head Yushi Nagano visited Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy and held discussions on the tech stack. </p>.<p>“With JICA’s DXLab support, the government of Karnataka is building a next-gen transport tech stack for real-time insights, open APIs and enhanced public service delivery,” the release said. </p>.Calls grow for RRTS corridors to link Bengaluru, nearby towns.<p>The new transport tech stack will streamline operations, reduce leakages and unlock innovation, it added. </p>.<p><strong>Free travel</strong></p>.<p>The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will offer free travel to students appearing for PUC Exam-3. In a press release, the BMTC stated that examinees would be allowed to free travel on ordinary buses from their place of residence to the examination centre on production of exam hall/admission ticket. The exams began on June 9 and will conclude on June 20. </p>
