Some unidentified fraudsters have cheated former MLA J R Lobo and withdrew Rs 50,000 from his bank account.
Lobo received a call from a man who claimed that he is calling from the bank and sought his details for the upgradation of his ATM card. Lobo gave the details. Subsequently, the caller called Lobo two more times seeking more details. By the time Lobo realised that he has been cheated, the caller had withdrawn
Rs 50,000 from his bank account. A case has been registered in Kadri police station in this regard.
