Three day old infant discarded

The general public who heard the baby cry amidst heavy downpour of rain at around  7 am called 108 ambulance.

The infant could be saved as it was brought to the City government hospital on time.

The public suspect that the parents might have discarded the infant on Saturday night.
Dr Sashikant Das and Dr Veerabhadra who treated the infant have applauded the timely act of the public and Harish, Akram, Siddaraju and Reddy of 108 ambulance.

Moreover, due to contraction of allergy the infant will be sent to a hospital in Kolar for further treatment.
A case has been registered with the police and the incident will be brought to the notice of    Women and Child Welfare Department.
