Sources in the Police department informed that he escaped while cleaning the quarters inside the jail. A case has been registered in this regard.
Robbery
Unidentified miscreants gained entry into a house by breaking open back door and decamped with cash of Rs 25,000 and gold ornaments at Kumpala. The value of the stolen property is Rs 95,000.
