<p>Thane civic chief's wife and daughter are admitted to a private hospital, where they are being treated reportedly for a case of suspected dengue.</p>.<p>This coupled with several other suspected dengue cases has triggered fear of an outbreak of vector-borne diseases in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.</p>.<p>Thane city's Municipal Commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal's wife Siddhi (45) and daughter Sneha (17) were admitted to the Jupiter Hospital in Thane.</p>.<p>Both of them stay in Bandra, Mumbai, and it is suspected that they might have contracted the disease from there.</p>
