British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak called the number of people arriving in the UK from elsewhere "too high", after official data on Thursday showed net migration at a record 606,000 last year.
"(The) numbers are too high, it's as simple as that. And I want to bring them down," Sunak told ITV News.
