They, however, produced a performance that's bound to sound a warning to the other teams - India means business. Their bowlers made the South African batsmen hobble. The scintillating performances of Bumrah and Chahal showed why this bowling attack is hailed as India's best in ODI history. While chasing, Rohit Sharma showed his mettle as a big tournament player as he kept the scoreboard ticking along with MS Dhoni. Rohit's innings of 122* off 144 balls has been described by Virat Kohli as his finest ever. In the end, India sealed a comfortable win with six wickets in hand. South Africa suffered their third consecutive loss and will find it hard to recover from this horrendous start to their campaign.
