Rahul Gandhi uses modified image to ridicule Modi

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has tweeted a morphed screenshot indicating that a new word has been added into the English dictionary -- 'modilie'. Congress supporters have been using the word since 2012 to suggest that the Prime Minister is known for ‘lying’.

Rahul Gandhi is said to have tweeted the screenshot twice. The earlier screenshot read ‘Oxford living dictionary’ while the latter one read ‘English living dictionary’. The template of the website, however, looks the same in the morphed image, the India Today reported.

The screenshot suggests that the meaning of the word is ‘To constantly modify the truth.’ Other meanings of the word include ‘to lie incessantly and habitually’ and ‘’to lie without respite.’
The screenshot shows the word as a ‘noun’ but it has been used as a verb -- ‘He just keeps modilying’.

A search of the same word in the Óxford English Dictionary doesn’t return any matches indicating that the image was morphed.

The Prime Minister has received constant scrutiny from Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders. He has been accused of lying to the public on multiple occasions as well. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has been ridiculed as well with the title of ‘Jaitlie’. #jaitlie was trending on Twitter.
