Mysuru zoo gets four zebras from Israel

Newly arrived zebras in Mysuru Zoo.

Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, here, has added four new zebras to its fleet of animals, which has been brought from Ramat Gan Safari in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Zoo received two male and two female zebras under its animal exchange programme. The animals were airlifted from Israel to Mumbai and brought to Mysuru in a truck. With this, the number of zebras has increased to six in the zoo.

Karnataka Zoo Authority Member-Secretary B P Ravi said zebras are one of the major attractions of Mysuru zoo.
