Q: Who is our (India's) first prime minister?
Ans: Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
This is one of the first things that you learnt as a student. With the advent of the Internet and later Google, finding answers is now a matter of seconds.
If you search for "India first PM", the answer would be 'Jawaharlal Nehru' and the full description would have a link to the Wikipedia page of List of Prime Ministers of India. But the fascinating aspect is the image on the right side of the answer is that of the present prime minister, Narendra Modi.
The Congress's social media in-charge Divya Spandana tweeted the error on Thursday and asked Google India about the algorithm they use to generate such answers.
At the time of publishing this story, Google had removed Modi's image from the search result.
