In a major setback to BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) has announced on Tuesday that it will not support the NDA candidate in the Darjeeling Parliamentary constituency.
GJM leader Binay Tamang also announced that the party is now a part of the anti-BJP opposition front.
" Supporting the NDA in the Lok Sabha elections is out of the equation. I have attended the mega rally of opposition parties in Kolkata on January 19 and GJM is now part of the anti-BJP opposition front," Tamang told journalists in Darjeeling.
He also dared shunted GJM leader Bimal Gurung to campaign for BJP candidate in the Darjeeling.
