PM opens first sports injury centre

The seven-storeyed Centre situated within the premises of the Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital.

The Centre is expected to provide world-class treatment for sport-related injuries.

The Centre, built at a cost of Rs 70 crore, has an inpatient capacity of 35 beds in two wards with all the modern facilities.  It is equipped with state-of-the-art operation theatres, physiotherapy centre with all the facilities adhering to global standards and a dedicated team of well experienced and dedicated doctors.
