Rs 1 lakh reward for missing baby: TTD

 The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for the finder of the eight-month old baby boy who went missing in Tirumala few days ago.

The baby, Prathith, who came along with his parents Raja (25) and Tangapriya (22) of Tamil Nadu went missing during the wee hours of July 8 in PAC III. After their search efforts went in vain, they approached the police.

Addressing media persons in Tirumala on Friday in his camp office, TTD EO LV Subramanyam said that it is shocking to see that the baby  who went missing in PAC III Guest House is still not reunited with his parents in spite of serious search efforts by police and vigilance sleuths. “We pray Lord Venkateswara that the child be restored to his parents soon. Over the request of the parents of the missing child, we have decided to provide them accommodation, a vehicle and food to stay in Tirumala till they find their child. I appeal to the pilgrims and locals, to inform us immediately if they find the child,” he added.

He also appealed to the parents of the infants to be alert when they come to places like Tirumala which will be always abuzz with multitude of pilgrims. Information regarding the baby could be given through the following numbers : 9440796778, 94407 96768, 0877-2289043 and toll free 800-425-4141
