A court at Kottayam in Kerala rejected a discharge petition filed by former bishop of Jalandhar Franco Mulakkal in the rape case filed by a nun.
The court rejected Franco's contention that the case was fabricated and directed Franco to face trial. Franco was charged of raping a nun at a convent in the district 13 times between 2014 and 2016.
