Swamy praises Modi but reverts to booing banks

Two days after he invited Prime Minister's snipe for his “craving for publicity”,  BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said he stands by Narendra Modi as he “admires his spine” but took a dig at journalists planting “deliberate false stories” to provoke him.

“I have said before & saying now: Come hell or high water I stand by Modi. I admire his spine. No foreign power can buckle him,” Swamy tweeted on Wednesday.  

The BJP Rajya Sabha member, however, blew hot and cold on his Twitter account throughout the day as he stated a “banking crisis is imminent” which he had predicted earlier.  Finance minister Arun Jaitley refused to comment on Swamy’s posts.
