The Delhi airport's Terminal 2, which was once buzzed with international services and non-functional for past seven years, will start full-scale operations again on Saturday night with a domestic flight touching down from Ranchi.
The Terminal 2 went into oblivion in 2010 when Terminal 3 became operational; international services and some of the domestic flights were shifted to the new one.
The operationalisation of the Terminal comes at a time the Delhi International Airport Ltd (DAIL) is going ahead with expansion plans for the existing Terminal 1.
The Terminal 2 will be in use for another 3-4 years when the expansion work will be in progress.
