JOIN USKerala men eased past Puducherry in straight sets while the women also had it easy against the same opponents.
In the men’s match, after a slow beginning, Kerala got into their stride and took the first set 20-14. After winning the first set, the Kerala men continued their momentum to take the second and third 25-16, 25-19 respectively.
In the women’s battle, Kerala found it much easier, not even letting their opponents hit double digits in any of the sets.
The first set went Kerala’s way with a 25-7 scoreline, and the second was even more one-sided with Puducherry barely getting on the board, going down 1-25. The final set was just as easy for Kerala who won it 25-5.
In the other women’s match Tamil Nadu won in staright sets over Andhra Pradesh 25-22, 25-12, 25-17.
