Last Updated 11 October 2015, 19:12 IST

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Bengaluru has launched a helpline as part of its ‘Bribe-Free Karnataka’ programme starting October 13.

Freedom Fighter H S Doreswamy launched the helpline and urged the public to call the helpline  and get the official work done without paying the bribe.

The AAP has urged the people to call 9342522223 to report instances of corruption. “The helpline will be up and running on all working days. The people across the State can call this number and report demand of bribe and the official’s number. The AAP party workers will visit the government office and request the public servant to complete the work without taking any bribe. If he does not completes the work, we will take the matter to the seniors in the department. This programme has taken shape as the institution of Lokayukta has become headless.

The Lokayukta has not turned up for work and has not assigned the duties to the Upalokayukta,” AAP leader Ravikrishna Reddy said.
