CM reviews state's fiscal status

With the BJP building its pressure on him to waive farm loans immediately, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Friday reviewed the financial position of the state.

After winning the floor test and a meeting with Congress leaders, Kumaraswamy held a meeting with senior officers including Chief Secretary Ratna Prabha and Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, ISN Prasad at his home office 'Krishna.'

Kumaraswamy is also said to have reviewed the coal supply situation in the state. Sources said that he has shot off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking an appointment with him to discuss the issue.
