<p>For the first time in the city, the Public Accounts’ Committee (PAC) meeting will be held on November 27 and 28. The members will also undertake on-the-spot-study.</p>.<p>MP and Congress leader in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge is the PAC chairman. The committee has 22 members including seven Rajya Sabha members. About 40-60 officials of various departments of the Union government will take part in the meeting.</p>.<p>The meeting will be held at the Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Development Board (HKRDB)’s office. Kharge is the PAC chairman for the second time and scrutiny of accounts of various departments will be held for two days.</p>.<p>Deputy Commissioner R Venkateshkumar said that the committee members and officials will visit the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital and Gulbarga Airport on the first day and get on-the-spot information from the officials concerned. After which, they will visit the Central University of Karnataka (CUK) located at Kadaganchi in Aland taluk.</p>.<p>The members will visit the Kalaburagi Railway Station after holding meeting with the officials of the Railway department, he explained.</p>.<p>Accommodation for committee members and officials have been made at Aiwan-E-Shahi Guest House, Gulbarga University, Central University of Karnataka and hotels.</p>.<p>The district administration is making all arrangements for the meeting. Chiefs of various departments and public undertakings will take part in the meet, the deputy commissioner added.</p>
