Leopard attacks man in Ramanagar district

A leopard attacked and injured a man in Ramanagaram district on Saturday.

The injured has been identified as Thammaiah. He has been shifted to the government hospital in Kanakapur.

The leopard sneaked into a portion of the house in search of food at Belikottanur village. It attacked Thmmaiah who was inside.

Jagadish, who was at the house, immediately rescued Thammaiah and locked the room from outside.

Local residents informed the forest officials who rushed to the village, caught the leopard and sent it to Bannerghatta national park.
