The CCB sleuths have arrested one more person in connection with the murder of Deepak Rao at Katipalla 2nd block in Surathkal police station limits on January 3.
City Police Commissioner T R Suresh said the arrested is Safwan alias Chappu (23), a resident of Krishnapura 4th block, Surathkal. He was arrested at Mukka near Surathkal. He is the brother of prime accused Rizwan alias Rijju.
Deepak Rao (30) was hacked to death in broad daylight by four persons who came in a car. The police have arrested 12 persons already.
Safwan has been handed over to investigation officer Manjunath Shetty for further probe.
