A student who had failed in II PU examination has passed after the revaluation of answer script.

When the result was announced, T A Sheethal of Vidyanikethana PU College was shocked to find that she had scored only 16 marks in biology and had failed in the exam.

She had scored 87 in English, 93 in Hindi, 86 in Physics, 88 in Chemistry and 98 in mathematics. Though she was dejected over the results, she applied for revaluation as per the guidance of her teachers. After revaluation, she has scored 46 marks in Biology instead of 16. Her total marks have increased to 528.

Sheethal’s father Tadiyappana Arun Uthaiah said, “My daughter was sad after seeing the result. Now, she is happy. Strict action should be taken against the teacher who valuated her answer script and gave wrong marks.”
