As a preventive measure against H1N1 Influenza, more than 1,000 persons received Homoeopathic medicines from Union Labour Minister M Mallikarjuna Kharge at a programme organised by the Lions Club here in association with Samarpan Trust on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Railways KH Muniyappa said that as Karnataka is second to Maharashtra in the number of deaths, the State has to make efforts to spread more awareness among public about H1N1 Influenza. "The Central Government will extend all its support to help the State Government in their programmes to curb Flu." he said.
