PM's praise for Gowda has political undertone:CM

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that the praise showered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda had a political undertone. "It clearly shows that BJP and JD(S) have a tacit understanding," he said, reports DHNS from Hubballi.

"During Lok Sabha elections, Modi had stated that Deve Gowda needed old-age care, and now Modi is praising Gowda. BJP and JD(S) are not blaming each other now. They have joined hands in Chamundeshwari, Varuna, KR Nagar and other constituencies. But, they cannot defeat us as we have people's support," he said.
