'Post-poll, DKS will be Congress' full-time pallbearer'

After Lok Sabha elections, D K Shivakumar will become a full-time pallbearer of the Congress party, BJP leader Jagadish Shettar ridiculed.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Shettar said, "D K Shivakumar had said in open that he is both the palanquin bearer and the pallbearer in the Congress party. Time to carry palanquin is over. Post elections, he will have to perform the job of pallbearer full time."

"In a bid to divert the attention of the people from D K Shivakumar scams, the Congress party has raked up Yeddyurappa diary issue. The Income Tax department has termed the entry and signature in diary fake. Unable to digest the Modi wave in the country, Congress is trying to mislead the people by spreading blatant lies. The Congress party's decline will begin this election," Shettar said.

The people have lost their faith in the coalition government. The Congress-JD(S) coalition looks like forced marriage and it will not last for long, the former chief minister said.
