Janardhan Reddy not BJP's star campaigner: Vamanacharya

Karnataka BJP spokesperson Vamanacharya noted that G Janardhana Reddy is not a star campaigner of the party and the party has not invited him for campaigning.

"We cannot stop him if he campaigns as a common party worker," he told the media here on Wednesday.

Vamanacharya was visibly uncomfortable while replying to a query on State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa's comment that the party has been strengthened by Janardhana Reddy's presence.

"Yeddyurappa has not said so. BJP National President Amit Shah has also clarified that BJP has no links with Reddy," he said.

Modi visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi would address the BJP's campaigning meets in Chamarajnagar at 12:00 noon, in Udupi at 3:00 pm and in Belagavi at 5:00 pm, on May 1. He would campaign in Kalaburagi, Ballari and Bengaluru on May 3, Vamanacharya added.
