RSS takes out two flag marches in Chikkaballapur

The state-level convention of the Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) was held in Chikkaballpur on Sunday. The city's streets were filled with  saffron flags and buntings for the event.  

Beginning at 3 pm, RSS volunteers staged two flag marches originating at two separate places in the city.

One set of volunteers began from the Maralusiddeshwara temple and passed through Prashant Nagar, Bhagat Singh Nagar, KSRTC depot, Prashanti Bala Mandir, Vapasandra and Ambedkar Circle, BB Road and reached Sir M V district  stadium.  

The other set of volunteers began their march at Bharati school and passed through Mahakali Road, Bazaar Road, Bhuvaneshwari Circle, Gangamma Temple Road, Kanakadasa Road, Ambedkar Circle, BB Road to reach the Sir M V stadium.

During both marches, flower petals were showered on the  volunteers by the crowd.  

Both marches culminated at the stadium by 4 pm.

As a precautionary measure, police security has been provided for the event.
