Science Express arrives in Belgaum

Additional Deputy Commissioner Vijaykumar Torgal inaugurated the Science Express here. The exhibition mounted on the 16 coach air-conditioned rake specially fabricated for department of Science and Technology, has been designed and developed by Max Planck Society Germany, a noble laureate powerhouse. The main objective of this unique venture was to nurture curiosity amongst the youth and rekindle their waning interest in science.  
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh flagged off the train on October 30 and it would travel across 100 cities.

It would remain here for four days. The visitors could explore wide areas in science in a fascinating manner and delve in to the mysteries of the world, groundbreaking discoveries,  cutting-edge sciences and future oriented technologies.
