Three advocates from Ponnampet, Virajpet taluk, Kodagu district, have filed the bail application and expressed their wish to appear in defence of the prime accused in Sulvadi Maramma temple poison incident, Immadi Mahadevaswamy, at the district and sessions court here on Wednesday, reports DHNS from Chamarajanagar.
Advocates Sudheesh and Lohit submitted the bail petition before the judge and requested for a trial. The judge announced a hearing at 3 pm. But, as the advocates did not appear, the hearing was adjourned to January 29.
As the judicial custody of the four accused will end on January 29, the police will produce them before the court.
