Ramesh Jarkiholi CD case: Woman's parents appear before SIT

The family members of the woman, allegedly in the controversial video with former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, have appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) at the Interrogation Cell in Madiwala.

The father, mother, and two brothers of the woman appeared before the officials around 11 am. The senior officials of SIT, including Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) MN Anucheth, DCP (Crime) Ravi Kumar and others, visited the Interrogation Cell.

The officials had served the notice to the parents and accordingly, they appeared before the officials. The officials are going to question the parents about the kidnap case filed by them. They will also be questioned about the phone conversation between them and their daughter and other issues.

Meanwhile, the woman's advocate Jagadesh KN Mahadev has demanded the SIT officials to arrest Ramesh Jarkiholi. He stated that Ramesh is threatening the victim and others through media statements. He may destroy the evidence, so they have to arrest him and probe the case further, he said.
