It’s exactly a year since the Meitei-Kuki conflict started in Manipur, in which 224 people have been killed and over 60,000 others displaced. DH’s Sumir Karmakar visited the Meitei-dominated Imphal Valley and Kuki-dominated Moreh and Churachandpur just before the Lok Sabha polls and found that the lives and livelihoods of both communities had been shattered.
