MP's Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary: India's second home to cheetahs
Geographically, the Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary is located around 270 km from the 748 sq km wide Kuno National Park in Sheopur district of MP, which was developed in September 2022, almost 70 years after the extinction of the predator in India.

Three cubs born to Namibian cheetah at Kuno National Park
With this, the total headcount of cheetahs in KNP (Kuno National Park) has reached 20, including 13 adults and 7 cubs. Of the 13 surviving adults, 6 are male while 7 are female cheetahs which were translocated from Namibia and South Africa to KNP.
