WhatsApp has rolled out a new update to its messenger app. It brings loads of new features to enhance the user experience.

Meta-owned entity WhatsApp has introduced new camera effects. This was first launched for videos and now, it is available for photos. It offers 30 backgrounds, filters and effects to transform the pictures and make them more engaging while chatting with friends and family members.

Further, WhatsApp also gets a new Selfie sticker. Users can transform their selfie photos into personalised custom stickers.

The user has to just tap the sticker on create sticker and there you'll find the camera option to take a selfie and create the sticker. It is now available on Android. The iPhone users have to wait a little longer to explore this feature.

This handy feature lets users scan any document and share it instantly with a friend or a colleague without having to leave the app.

This new feature saves time for the user. Previously, the user had to rely on the phone's native camera app or any third-party app to scan a document and save it in a folder. Then, the user has to open WhatsApp and go to the particular folder to retrieve and share the document.
