Ullal CHC to get dialysis unit soon

District In-charge Minister U T Khader has said that a dialysis unit will be installed in the upgraded Ullal Community Health Centre.

Speaking after inspecting the upgraded community health centre, he said, “Work on the upgraded CHC is completed. Basic facilities will be improved in a phased manner. The government will issue a notification for the recruitment of staff to the hospital.”

The upgraded centre will also give priority to treat the patients in Ayurveda and Unani systems of medicine. “Initially, Ayurveda therapy and panchakarma treatment will be offered. Later, measures will be taken to develop the centre as a full-fledged hospital,” Khader added.

DHO Dr Ramakrishna Rao and others were present on the occasion.
