Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday met injured policemen in Silchar Medical College and Hospital. At least five Assam Police personnel were killed in a violent clash over an inter-state border dispute with Mizoram. Both the Chief Ministers of Assam and Mizoram sought Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s intervention to solve the dispute.
