Streets in Kolkata waterlogged after heavy rains

Streets in the Lake Gardens area of Kolkata were waterlogged due to the heavy rainfall in the city. People waded through submerged roads. According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Kolkata, heavy rainfall is likely to continue for the next two to three hours. A local told ANI that the area is in a low-lying part of the city. He also alleged that there is no proper drainage system.
