India reports 42,625 new Covid cases, 563 deaths in 24 hours

On August 4, the country reported a slight increase in coronavirus cases. In the last 24 hours, India reported 42,625 new Covid-19 cases and 36,668 people were discharged in the same duration.

562 deaths were reported in the same time, taking the toll to 4,25,757. The country has 4,10,353 active cases of coronavirus at present. 48,52,86,570 vaccine doses have been administered across the country so far.
