Tesla India official met Secretary, Road Transport and Highways Ministry on September 15. After the meeting, Secretary went for a drive in the electric car. American company wants tax breaks to enter Indian automobile market. It has already registered its business in India under the name Tesla India Motors and Energy Pvt Ltd. The company is holding discussions with Government of India.
