Large numbers of devotees attended the 'Ganga Aarti' in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on April 2 amid Covid-19 cases spike in the state. Scores of people at the ghats were seen flouting social distancing norms and many were also seen without masks. The state has reported over 2,900 new cases on Friday.
