Soon after meeting Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Serum Institute of India (SII) CEO Adar Poonawalla said that the meeting was to discuss ramping up COVID vaccine production. “We discussed ramping up vaccine production. More than 17 countries in Europe have already approved Covishield and many more are in line to give approval,” he said.
