Motorola Moto Book 60 Pro

Motorola earlier this week launched the new laptop, the Moto Book 60 Pro.

It sports a 14-inch 2.8K OLED, supports 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1100 nits peak brightness and comes with TÜV Low Blue Light rating, Flicker-Free certification and support VESA HDR TB1000 standard.

The device features an Aluminium-based casing anodised with sandblasting and comes in Pantone-certified bronze green and Wedgewood colour variants.

It also features stereo speakers (two x 2W)tuned with the Dolby Atmos system, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports, one HDMI 2.1, a microSD slot, a 3.5mm combo jack, TPM 2.0 security, a dual mic array, an IR camera with full HD 1080p recording and a privacy shutter button.

Further, it has passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade testing across 21 rigorous test items. From shocks and vibrations to extreme temperatures and humidity, the laptop is developed for long durability.

It will be available with Intel Core Ultra 5 / Core Ultra 7 chipset options, an Integrated Intel Graphics Processing Unit, dual-channel 16GB / 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM (two slots), 1TB SSD M.2 PCIe 4.0 storage, 60Wh battery with Rapid Charge Boost capability, a 65W USB-C charger.

The device runs on Microsoft's Windows 11 Home OS and comes with the Office Home & Student 2024 productivity tool.

It is available in two configurations--Intel Core Ultra 5 with 16GB RAM + 512GB Storage for Rs 59,990 and the other features Intel Core Ultra 7 with 32GB RAM + 512GB storage for Rs 75,990.

Its AI Wash feature uses advanced five-step sensing to enhance washing performance and minimise waste. It can intuitively detect the weight and softness of the fabric in each load, actively monitors the level of soiling, and optimises water and detergent levels to achieve the best wash results quickly and efficiently.

The Auto Dispense function can automatically release the right amount of detergent and softener for each load, ensuring that consumers don’t have to worry about using too much or too little detergent.

It also holds enough detergent for up to one month of washing, so there is no need to refill the detergent tank after every wash. The AI Control feature personalises washing by remembering your habits, suggesting cycles and displaying timely information.

The new Samsung washer-dryers come with an AI Energy feature that helps reduce energy consumption by up to 70 per cent. The digital inverter technology in the new washer-dryers helps consumers benefit from greater energy efficiency, less noise, and long-lasting performance. Samsung’s new washer-dryers are made of highly durable materials and is backed by a 20-year warranty.

Its SuperSpeed feature washes a full load in just 39 minutes, delivering powerful cleaning while protecting fabrics.

The new range of washer-dryers also comes with AI Ecobubble technology that enhances washing performance by improving soil removal by up to 20 per cent, while still being gentle on fabrics. The Air Wash feature refreshes laundry without washing, boiling, scrubbing, or using detergent by deodorising garments and bedding so that they smell fresh.

And, the SmartThings Wrinkle Prevent feature helps keep dried clothes wrinkle-free, reducing the hassle of ironing.

It features a sleek aluminium finish anda lightweight design. The laptop comes in two configurations-- Intel Core i5-1334U and AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processors, both running on Windows 11 Home.

Each model features a 14-inch full HD IPS anti-glare display with an 82 pe cent screen-to-body ratio and a 180-degree hinge, enabling flexible viewing angles.

With a full charge, it can deliver up to 8 hours of battery life with a 36Whr 3-cell Li-ion battery and supports fast charging.

It also features an HD webcam with a built-in privacy shutter, dual stereo speakers, and a wide range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C ports, RJ45 LAN, microSD card reader, and a 2-in-1 audio combo jack. It is available in Obsidian Black finish for Rs 32,999.

The Motorola Razr 60 Swarovski Edition flaunts 35 hand-set crystals on a 3D quilted leather-inspired finish.

The Moto Buds Loop Swarovski Edition comes in a jewellery-inspired design and case that delivers immersive sound and standout style.

However, the internal hardware specifications of the Razr 60 and Moto Buds Loop arethe same as the original models.

Motorola Razr (2025) features a 3.63-inch QuickView pOLED LTPO display with 1056×1066p resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 1,700nits peak brightness.

It is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus shield and IP48 water splash-resistant rating.

Motorola device also features a single SIM (+ eSIM), a Type-C port, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Inside, the Razr 60 sports a wide 6.96-inch FlexView full HD+ (1080×2640p) pOLED LTPO display with 1-120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.

The device runs Android 15 OS and is powered by a 4m class MediaTek Dimensity 7400X octa-core with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 30W turbocharger and 15W wireless charging.

Motorola's foldable phone houses a dual-camera module- a main 50MP(with f/1.7 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera with LED flash on the back. It also features a 32MP (f/2.4) front camera.

Moto Buds Loop Swarovski Edition.

The new Moto Buds Loop is made of a reinforced memory alloy frame and an IP54 water-repellent design, making them resistant to sweat, splashes. It comes in an advanced open-ear design that delivers a lightweight, secure, and comfortable fit.

The earphones are tuned with EVO certification and Sound by Bose. They are powered by 12mm ironless drivers, which promise to deliver rich, detailed, and balanced sound that elevates every note, beat, and lyric.

It supports spatial sound technology to offer an immersive 3D-like listening experience with good clarity and depth. Conversation during phone calls will be crystal clear thanks to an advanced dual-mic system featuring voice pickup sensors.

The Moto Buds Loop can deliver up to eight hours of playback on a single charge and a total of 39 hours with the charging case. And, with fast charging, it provides three hours of playtime in just 10 minutes. It costs Rs 7,999.

Tecno Mobile earlier this week launched a new Android phone Pova Slim 5G series.

It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1224×2720p) 3D curved AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, offering up to 4500 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i shield.

It also houses dual-SIM slots, a Type-C port, an Infrared sensor, IP64 water-and-dust-resistant rating, Military Grade MIL-STD 810H durability certification, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it comes with 6nm class MediaTek Dimensity 6400 octa-core processor with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, Android 15-based HiOS 15, 8GB RAM LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, dual-camera module-- 50MP (f/1.79 aperture) main camera with 2MP auxiliary lens with dual LED flash, 13MP (f/2.0) front camera, and a 5160mAh battery with 45W fast charging capability.

It comes with three colours-- cool black, sky blue, and slim white-- for Rs 19,999.

Luminous Edge Go 1500 Smart Audio Portable Power Station

Wobble Displays, a subsidiary of Indkal Technologies, earlier this week launched a new Maximus TV series. It comes with a 116.5-inch TV screen and is touted to be India’s first-ever QLED + MiniLED display technology in its class.

It boasts of advanced quantum dot technology, which ensures colour accuracy with precision mini-LED backlighting at 116.5 inches. It supports 4K 144Hz native refresh rate.

It runs the latest Android 14-based Google TV 5.0 OS with smart capabilities and seamless content integration with smartphones, tablets and computers.

IT houses a 240W speaker with a 6.2.2-channel array and two dedicated woofers.
