The BJP on Tuesday issued a show-cause notice to its Gangenahalli BBMP ward corporator, M Nagaraj, for campaigning in favour of the Congress candidate in the Hebbal Assembly constituency in the recent elections.
Similar action is initiated against the BJP women's wing president of the constituency, Sunita Manjunath, for the same reason. The party has sought disciplinary action against them. They have been given seven days to reply.
Congress' Byrathi Suresh won the Hebbal Assembly election, defeating sitting MLA N Y Narayanaswamy.
