Last Updated 29 June 2018, 19:39 IST

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has invited applications to allot 5,000 sites in Phase II in the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout.

The BDA had already allotted 5,000 sites in the Layout almost a year ago.

The BDA Secretary Basavaraj said the authority was ready to allot sites of different dimensions to allottees.

The BDA has finalised the provisional list of successful allottees, which will be posted soon on the BDA website (www.bdabangalore.org). The list will also be put up on the notice board at the BDA head office.

All the objections to the provisional list of allottees can be sent to the BDA Secretary by July 10. Any objections that are received after the last date will not be entertained, Basavaraj said.

The final list of allottees will be published on the website after all the received objections are scrutinised. After the final list is announced, the initial deposit of applicants who could not make the cut will be immediately refunded through the RTGS payment system.

The BDA officials have said that the prices of the sites have not been increased from that of the first phase of the allotment.

During the first phase, the BDA had allotted 5,000 sites to citizens and 2,157 sites to people who had lost their lands to various projects. In the second phase, the BDA is allotting 5,000 sites to citizens and 3,300 sites to the land losers.
