Plea against offices in cellar of HC building

A PIL petition has been filed for evacuating all the offices from the basement of the high court building.

Advocate Ramesh Naik filed the petition, contending that the basement should be used for parking and installing utility equipment. The offices also violate Rule 18 of the BBMP Bye-laws, 2003, he stated. The petition is expected to be listed next week.
