Tauro distributed Vijaya Vikas Smart Cards to select no-frills account holders of the village. The biometric smart cards enable basic banking transactions by the villagers in their own village through the Bank’s authorised Business Correspondents.
Vijaya Bank also announced it has entered into agreement with Dubai based UAE Exchange to offer Xpress Money transfer facility to expatriate community. The agreement was signed General Manager M B Gurumurthy and UAE Exchange India Country Head V George Antony.
