According to the police, an allegedly inebriated Chaudhary had last night gone to Sharma's flat in a housing society in suburban Oshiwara, where the duo got into a fight, following which the Bhojpuri actor allegedly assaulted Sharma.
Neighbours and other society members hearing Sharma's screams informed the police.
"Even as the duo was being taken to the Oshiwara police station, they continued fighting on the road and refused to pay heed to a police constable," a police official said.
