<p>While allowing the petition filed by the devotees of Sampangi Ramaswamy Temple, Cunningham Road, Bangalore, the division bench headed by chief justice J S Khehar quashed the state government order on June 17, 2010 leasing of an extent of 2,250 square feet of prime property of the temple to the Karnataka Dalith Industrialist Federation.<br /><br />The petitioner has contended that, the state government has no power to grant lease of temple property to private parties.</p>
